Our Story

Crime Into Bed began long before they ever turned on a microphone. Growing up, some of Philesha's favorite memories were spent curled up beside her mom, watching true-crime shows and documentaries together. What started as a shared fascination eventually became a hobby. They began researching cases their our own, digging through public records, connecting the dots, and asking the questions that others seemed to overlook. Before long, their late-night sleuthing became something more—and Crime Into Bed was born. The name came naturally because so many of their true-crime nights were spent piled into mom’s bed, getting cozy while trying to solve the case before the credits rolled. That tradition became the heart of the podcast: keep sleuthing, stay cozy, always stay curious.

Crime Into Bed is about much more than the love of true crime. We never want to sensationalize tragedy or forget the real people behind the stories we cover. Our purpose is to give victims a voice, expose wrongdoing, educate and protect our listeners, and bring attention to important stories that have gone overlooked or underreported. As an Arkansas-based mother-daughter team, we are especially passionate about the cases unfolding in our own communities. We care deeply about Arkansas, its people, and the South as a whole. These are our neighbors, our hometowns, and our stories—and we believe they deserve to be told with compassion, honesty, and a little Southern grit.
